Eligibility & Membership Categories:
*Membership application is subject to the approval of the Executive Committee

**Annual membership period: September 1 to the following August 31
 

Life Members: (One-off membership fee: HKD $3000)

Regular Members: (Annual membership fee: HKD $300)
Individuals who (a) abide by the constitution of the Society and (b) either hold higher degrees in linguistics and language studies or have research publications in linguistics or related language studies

Affiliate Members: (Annual membership fee: HKD $150)
Individuals who abide by the constitution of the Society

​

Student Members: (Annual Membership fee: HKD $75)
Full-time students of tertiary institutions who  (a) abide by the constitution of the Society and (b) have a valid student ID
