CALL FOR PAPERS

LSHK members are cordially invited to attend and to present papers at the 2010 Annual Research Forum of the Linguistic Society of Hong Kong (LSHK-ARF 2010), which will be hosted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, on December 4, 2010 (Saturday).

As is customary ARF practice, there will be parallel sessions, and papers related to any area of linguistics are welcome. Every paper will be allotted 20 minutes for oral presentation and 10 minutes for discussion.

Please note that *all* presenters have to be an LSHK member. If you are not yet a member, please apply for the LSHK membership by filling in the application form which can be downloaded from www.lshk.org.

Each member is maximally entitled to one single-author presentation and one joint presentation. Each submission should be an abstract of no more than 400 words in English or 800 characters in Chinese.

Moreover, members who would like to propose a discussion session based on a particular theme or a theme-based parallel session are welcome to send a proposal (maximum two pages) to the LSHK Executive Committee, specifying the theme and the format of the session and target participants.

ARF abstract submissions and registration will be done *online* at www.lshk.org. Email and/or paper abstract submissions will NOT be accepted.
